Dr Marie Ma is an experienced General Practitioner with an extensive background in both hospital and community medicine. She has been practising medicine in Australia for over 20 years.

Before moving to Australia, Dr Ma spent six years working in general medicine in public hospitals in China. She then worked for six years in paediatric medicine in Adelaide before completing her General Practice training. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and also holds an Advanced Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine.

Dr Ma has a special interest in chronic disease management, including diabetes, chronic respiratory disease and chronic kidney disease. She also provides comprehensive care in women’s health, antenatal shared care, general medicine, skin cancer diagnosis and excisions, Implanon® insertion and removal, and a wide range of minor skin surgical procedures.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Ma is actively involved in medical education through the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University. In recognition of her dedication to teaching and excellence in medical education, she was awarded the academic title of Senior Lecturer at Flinders University.
