Joseph Tan

Senior Audiologist - Independent

I have worked as an audiologist for over 13 years. Previously, I worked as a researcher at the University of Adelaide, Women’s and Children Hospital and the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where I earned my PhD. I have also worked as a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in lung cancer before pursuing a Master of Audiology at Flinders University.

As an audiologist, I believe in providing tailored hearing solutions for each client, as everyone’s needs and circumstances are unique. I also value evidence-based and best practices, which is why I decided to work as an independent audiologist. I believe audiology should focus on providing services to people with hearing problems rather than just being a retail store.

I am registered with Audiology Australia and a registered Hearing Service Program provider. We also have a Medicare provider number and are approved providers for ReturnToWork SA.
